American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials 2008
The Connecticut Hydrogen-Fuel Cell Coalition (Coalition) participated as an exhibitor at the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials 2008 National Conference in Hartford, CT on October 16, through 20, 2008. The Coalition was one of nearly 60 exhibitors, including members of the Coalition, at the show that had approximately 1,000 trade show visitors. The theme for the Coalition's Booth was “The Future is Here, the Future is Now”, with the intent of showcasing the state’s resources and capabilities, promoting the Connecticut Hydrogen-Fuel Cell Coalition, and demonstrating hydrogen and fuel cell equipment and products are ready for the commercial transportation market.
This effort was made possible through a partnership between the members of the Connecticut Hydrogen-Fuel Cell Coalition, including CCAT, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, the Department of Economic and Community Development, the Connecticut Global Fuel Cell Center at the University of Connecticut, and in-state manufacturers: Avalence, LLC., Proton Energy Systems, Precision Combustion Inc., UTC Power, Connecticut Innovations, Inc., and General Motors.
