Hydrogen/Fuel Cell Policy Briefing - April 10, 2007


On Tuesday, April 10, 2007, members of the Connecticut Hydrogen-Fuel Cell Coalition, participated in a Hydrogen/Fuel Cell Policy Briefing sponsored by Senate President Pro Tempore Donald E. Williams, Jr. The Hydrogen/Fuel Cell Policy Briefing included opening and closing remarks by State Senator Donald E. Williams, Jr.; and update on federal policy by U.S. Congressman John B. Larson; a policy discussion of economic development, energy and the environment by Elliot A. Ginsberg, President and CEO of CCAT; an update on the state's Plan for Fuel Cell Economic Development (Hydrogen Roadmap) by Joel M. Rinebold, Director of Energy Programs at CCAT; and presentations by members of the Coalition, including the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, GrowJobsCT, Distributed Energy Systems, UTC Power, FuelCell Energy, Inc., GenCell Corporation, Infinity Fuel Cell and Hydrogen, Inc., and Avalence, LLC.
